Very beautiful unmarked ironstone tureen with ornate handles and Imari-style transferware pattern and handpainted colour. Really lovely oval shape and looks very pretty planted up with pale blue Muscari 'Blue Eyes'. The pattern is reminiscent of early 'Indian Tree' but  as the tureen is unmarked it is hard to say. Judging by the style and decoration it's old - early to mid Victorian is our guess.
