A pretty small tureen planted very generously with Englsuh bluebells. Burleigh pottery was first established in Stoke-on-Trent in 1851 but was rebranded as Burleigh in 1909. This small tureen is in the ‘Orient’ pattern which was made between 1920 and 1949. Burleigh continues to make pottery today and manufactures Emma Bridgewater sponge ware amongst other makes. The tureen is in good condition apart from a small mend (shown) which is barely visible.
